The Board of Directors for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 383 (HCMUD 383) wants to remind residents of the upcoming replacement of broken and non-communicative endpoints for certain smart meters within the District. Accurate Meter, the supply and service company for the smart meters within our district, is working to develop a software patch to address broken endpoints. Accurate Meter should have all endpoints replaced by the end of April. The District wants to assure everyone this comes at no cost to the District or its residents.
Residents can directly monitor their water usage and be alerted of possible leaks in their home by using the EyeOnWater website and mobile app. You can read more about it and sign up here if you have not already done so.
